An Announcement

Usually, I would write. When I’m stressed, when I’m trying to make sense of things, when life throws curve balls… I write it out. But life has been a whirlwind for us. About four months ago I started to expect I might be pregnant. With mixed excitement and apprehension we discovered I was indeed pregnant. I am happy to report that the pregnancy continues healthy and without concern.Around the same time I got pregnant, Ben started to get sick. It’s been an emotional roller coaster; one that we are still very much on. It’s also been a very painful and physically difficult time for Ben whose lost over thirty pounds since this thing started. We are on the road to recovery, Ben in particular of course. We can’t know what else might come, but I believe in him and in a quiet, still small assurance that I’ve known my whole life.I wanted to let the people in my life know about our current journey, to ask questions, make comments or simply observe. I can’t promise I’ll be responsive or that I’ll produce many updates, I have a lot on my plate right now, but I felt I needed to let you all know. Here’s a short video to explain more:

  3. Thanks for sharing with everyone. It’s often hard to share when so much seems to be coming at you. Sending thankfulness & continuing prayers your way. Don’t know if you know them but Brian & Sheila Arnold faced a similar situation in October 2018. Brian is in his mid 30’s also. I know if you wanted to connect with someone else who has com thru this they would be willing. You can contact Shelia via FB or through me. Hugs to you and the family. Tammy Zeisler

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Ben, Tara. I am excited for your expected little one and so sorry you’ve got this added stress to deal with. In the back of my mind I keep thinking what a blessing that God has brought you both together. You certainly have had a history of having to deal with health issues,,,your own and others close to you…and you are in a unique position to provide love and support to Ben now. And…this baby is such a blessing too…something to look forward to and focus on. You really do know what he’s going through. Hang in there and glad you can find a little humor in the midst of this.
